Lorrie Foster
Lorrie Foster
Lorrie Foster’s expertise is in global business and corporate social responsibility. She spent the first part of her career helping companies globalize their operations. She was part of a small team that developed AT&T’s first international strategic plan; and was the founding Executive Director of the NJ Governor’s Commission on International Trade where she led the implementation of initiatives to promote exports from and foreign investment in the state. Lorrie was also Executive Director of the World Trade Institute, a division of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey that provided seminars, courses and customized training on all aspects of international business. She also spent over ten years as an executive at the Conference Board.
Lorrie’s current work focuses on advising companies on how to leverage their resources for positive social impact including skills-based employee volunteering, philanthropy and collaborative disaster response.
Lorrie holds an AB in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College and a Master of Public Administration degree from the Harvard Kennedy School.
