Jenny Fletcher

Jennifer (Jenny) Fletcher is an Australian citizen residing in New York City since 2006.  In the early eighties, Jenny started her professional banking career in International Investment Banking, Finance, and Private Client services in Sydney, Australia.  Jenny went on to establish Port Jackson Capital Limited which focused on private and public clients and institutions worldwide with assets mainly in the United States, Australia, and Europe.

Additionally, she also founded Fletcher & Associates in 1994, a consulting firm to governments in foreign policy, immigration, and multicultural affairs. It was there that Jenny became a principal advisor to Prime Ministers and Government officials globally.  She was awarded the Centenary Medal in 2000 by the Australian Prime Minister for her contributions to immigration, multicultural and indigenous polices that improved ongoing health and humanitarian services to communities.

Jenny has always been particularly interested in Women’s Health. This led Jenny to co-found PEARLS, a medical foundation to assist with the funding and research of major disorders in pregnancy and childbirth. PEARLS’ work has expanded to the building of many laboratories and research facilities engaged in the studies of preeclampsia and eclampsia in pregnancy.

Jenny has a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours and a Master’s degree in Finance from Sydney University and the University of New South Wales. She is passionate about the Arts and Education, and with her family has contributed to the funding of a multipurpose Arts and Education center in one of Manhattan’s public schools that provides ongoing interactive and interdisciplinary experiences for their students.
