OTR Benefit Party – Ian Smith AM, business leader and refugee advocate
About this event
OTR is delighted to host our annual benefit and to welcome Ian Smith AM, British Australian businessman and refugee advocate, as our speaker. We hope you can join us on the evening of May 20th at the Cosmopolitan Club.
Mr. Smith is the founding partner of Bespoke Approach and a Senior Adviser to Albright Stonebridge Group. He also co-founded Barefoot to Boots with two South Sudanese refugee brothers and serves as a director of Community Refugee Sponsorship Australia and Deputy Chair of King’s Trust Australia.
At a moment when conflict and instability are placing immense pressure on an already overstretched humanitarian sector, this is an especially timely opportunity to hear from a thoughtful and deeply experienced voice. Mr. Smith will speak about contemporary refugee issues, including the impact of the war in Iran and its broader ramifications for displaced people around the world.
Don’t miss this opportunity for completely “Off the Record” access to Ian Smith’s perspectives.
