About the Event:
Please join the Foreign Policy Association on Wednesday, September 24th for the annual Elbrun Kimmelman Distinguished Lecture on U.S.-India Relations. We are delighted to be joined by William Dalrymple. Mr. Dalrymple is a historian and author of The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World and The Company Quartet, a series of four publications that covers the rise and fall of the British East India Company. Books in the Quartet include The Anarchy, White Mughals, Return of the King, and The Last Mughal. Mr. Dalrymple has also worked on best sellers, including In Xanadu, City of Djinns, Nine Lives, and From the Holy Mountain.
The lecture will begin at 6:00pm and will be followed by a short reception.
