About the topic:
Over two years ago, Russia invaded Ukraine starting the current war. Over the past 24 months, nations around the world have picked sides aligning themselves in what may be a new world order. Now, with winter approaching and Russia getting more bold with its attacks on Ukraine’s energy system, Ukraine is pleading with the U.S. and Western allies to continue their support. The war appears to be at a crucial stage and yet a foreseeable truce, that could be maintained, does not appear to be in sight. What are the possible scenarios for ending the Russian-Ukrainian war? What are the possibilities for establishing a lasting and defendable peace between the two nations? Is a mutually acceptable peace possible?
